Open positions:

PhD Students and Postdocs:

There are currently no open positions in our group. Once a position becomes available, it will be advertised through the usual channels (here, social media, Euraxxes, Amethis, etc.).

Cold calls are only encouraged if you have already identified potential funders. In this case, please contact Dragos by e-mail, and he will be very happy to help you draft an application.

Possible funding bodies in Europe are:

  • Marie Curie Fellowships link
  • Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation (as an AvH alumnus, Dragos is allowed to host Feodor-Lynen Fellows) link

Erasmus research internships at the University of Rennes in our Group:

We accept research interns all year round, except for the time when the university is closed (during the month of August). A duration of an internship is typically between 2–6 months, though in exceptional cases, shorter or longer stays can be considered.

If you are from the European Union and wish to work with us, funding via Erasmus Placements is usually available even if your university does not have an Erasmus Agreement with us.

In some cases, research stipends are available from our research group. Alternatively, there might be some possibilities via your home institution or home country. If any of our topics interest you, do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

For the students at the University of Heidelberg:

  1. ACF- und Homogenkatalyse Forschungspraktika in Heidelberg
  2. ACF- und Homogenkatalyse-Forschungspraktika in Rennes
  3. Masterarbeiten in Rennes

For the M1/M2 students at the University of Rennes:

If any of your research topics are of interest to you, do not hesitate to contact Dragos via e-mail, submitting your transcript of records and quickly detailing your experience in synthetic chemistry as part of your application.

We typically have few spots for such internships, so early application is encouraged.

Funding via Erasmus Placements is usually available even if your university does not have an Erasmus Agreement with us.

In some cases, research stipends are available from our research group. Alternatively, there might be possibilities via your home institution or home country.
